  • Hacks at Disney’s “At The Movies”

I never thought I’d see the day where Richard Roeper looked like a REAL critic, but that day has come my friends.

Roeper and Ebert quit their show, At the Movies, although I stopped watching when Siskel passed away. I could never stand Roeper’s smarmy grin and his bad taste. However, he was a real journalist employed by a Chicago newspaper, unlike these guys:

Yeah, the son of Jeffrey Lyons (hack critic of the World who likes Everything! Best Movie.. Ever!) and a host on E! is now going to be dishing out film “criticism.” Disney has decided two good looking, talent-less hacks are the future of TV film criticism. Yikes.

At least there are places real film snobs who don’t want the run down on celebrity gossip, but want to know whether a movie is really any good, can still go: Reelfilmsnobs.com
