Angela and Bryan on the set

Show History

Angela Yeager and Bryan Michael started Reel Film Snobs with producer Melissa Kreutz Gallardo in November 2002. Melissa observed Angela and Bryan arguing at a party about the movie “Moulin Rouge” and overheard someone say, “those two should have a show.” Viola! The seed was planted for creating their own film review show. Angela and Bryan hosted Reel Film Snobs together in the Capital Community Media (then CCTV) studios until 2020. They each brought their unique taste and sensibility to the show, with Bryan preferring mainstream genre films (comic book flicks) and American classics, and Angela preferring arthouse and foreign movies.

Their chemistry and friendship propelled the show forward, with a crew of more than 20 dedicated volunteers making it all happen throughout the years. After the pandemic, the show’s production moved online. Today, the show is hosted by Angela with rotating hosts from around the country bringing their individual film expertise and taste to the show.

Our goal is to entertain and educate moviegoers on the amazing array of fantastic films available around the world.
